Did you hear about the Sun microsystems RIF?

Well, in typical fashion, Sun Microsystems is trying to "right size" itself and is ending up doing it wrong...again. They announced a layoff of about 5,000 people but can't say who or when. So they just increased the anxity of everyone who works there. Wanna bet how much actual work is going to get done until this clears up?
