What happens when my Rental Car is a Lemon?

Getting a rental car is a lot like a date. No matter how bad it is, it'll be over soon enough and you never need to date again! Still, common sense will say that you should end the dating analogy now and look over the body of the rental car BEFORE leaving the lot.

All car rental companies hold you liable for damage to the vehicle. By checking the car out before leaving the rental lot, all dings, cracks in plastic etc. can be noted as pre-existing. This limits your liability and problems when returning the car.

Take a look at the inside also. Any major stains or accessories not working? Did the last girl who rented the car smoke in your no smoking car? If so, have the rental car representative make a note of it. Regardless of your claims of no smoking, the rental company may charge YOU a cleaning fee if they smell the smoke when you return. All in all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

Everyone is worried about Google

If you've ever consider putting your business on the web, sooner or later the subject will turn to Google. Give me a break! To hear web marketing types and search engine optimization people talk, this search engine is some kind of walking talking breathing braintrust. come on people, it's only code running on servers. Heck, it may be bigger than your system at home but basically your desktop is the same thing as Google. It's hardware and software. It's NOT cognizant nor is it smart. Researchers have suggested that the fastest computer today still has the thinking capability of a mouse.

Can you out think a mouse? Of course you can, even if you're a kid. Quit thinking in terms of the all powerful, ever present all knowing search engine. It's just a bunch of parts folks and YOU can out think it IF you weren't so afraid.
