Oakley Dokley and the cheap knock off

OK, so you've decided that you actually WANT to pay for the marketing and hype that drives the cost of a 7 dollar pair of "designer" sunglasses to well over a hundred bucks. Don't fall for the "DESIGNER" thing though. Remember that everything purchased has been DESIGNED! Designing is nothing more than creating the plans to build or create something. Design is in every product we buy no matter what anyone tries to tell us. Although everything is designed, everything is NOT necessarily designed well however.

In high fashion and where name brands are favored, knock offs can be found. These are products that use the same high fashion design but may have "adjusted" the logo or other copyrighted items. Typically, the products available are either high quality, usually made at the same factory, with the same materials and sold with a different name or are cheap knock offs.

The one made at the same factory is usually the same as the high priced product but is much, much cheaper. The knock off is simply cheap. These products are junk that are selling on the strength of the product name. These are slimeballs that use anothers work and use consumer greed to make a sale. Take for example the Rolex knockoffs. These aren't high quality Rolex watches or Rollex watches from the same manufacturing plant. No, these are junk watches, made to look and are sold as genuine Rolex quality manufactured in the far east.

So bottom line is that if you want a good product, go to the factory and get comparible product. If you want junk, buy the knock offs.
