Risk Reward and modern anxiety drugs

There are cases of people being allergic to almost everything in modern day life. This doesn't mean however that those products, foods and other benefits shouldn’t be available for the general publics use. Nor should it be the responsibility of producers to make products that are completely safe no matter how, where or when used. All products have a risk reward ratio that must be weighed by each of us individually.

System Data Recovery in a network environment

RAID or the use of many disks to create models to provide more data safety or better preformance has been around for quite a few years. Different RAID designs are based a hierarchy of LEVELS. Level Zero thourgh Level 7, all provide different configurations of protection and data safety.

Anxiety drugs may be blamed for suicide

Anxiety drugs have been shown in recent studies to increase the liklihood of suicide, expecially in teenagers. At issue however is the problem of overall benefit as weighed against the increased risk of potential suicide. Apparently, there isn't a major problem or we'd have huge numbers of people committing suicide.

All we need to ask is what are the risks as measured against the benefits. There are millions of people living more productive, healthier lives because of these drugs. Do we rally want to send these people back into depression because some are prone to an increased risk of suicide.

The FDA, the national nanny

Once again, the FDA is issuing warnings about potential links between anti depression mediciations and suicide. I'm not suggesting that there is no link or that the warnings are not serious. The problem is that all drugs and most foods are can also be considered toxic to at least some members of society. We need to recognize this fact and quit attemping to make everything safe sor evenyone.

Take water. To much of it is deadly for any human. It's called DROWNING! Does this mean that we should outlaw water? Of course not. Likewise, the baby damaging drug tholidamide is absolutely deadly to babies not yet born. To give this medicine to pregnant women should be absolutely crimminal.
BUT...
If given to someone sufferring with AIDS, it helps tremendously with some serious problems. So remember when the government nannies try to smear anti depressent drugs that there are millions of people leading robust and high quality lives because of these medications. Removing them from the marketplace condemns the people benefitting to a much darker life than necessary.

Let's adjust the dosage and learn who is prone to suicide and consider suicide as a side effect for some people. Like milk, water and everything else, we need to understand how to take the product while still enjoying the benefits.
