So you could say that the sheriff, police or fire departments are a form of call centers. So is the 911 emergency network throughout the United States.

Calls are routed into these important centers, sent to someone on call, the information is obtained, and emergency vehicles or other personnel is dispatched as needed. These are call centers that actually work with the callers best interest in mind.
