Censorship! Censorship!

After posting the previous note, I read it and realized the blog nazi's would probably take offense at even the suggestion that the root cause of the problem is the search engines themselves.

If a mechanically or auto generated posting blog is not protected, then why should a search engine, which is nothing more that an auto generated spidering program be any more protected? Answer... MONEY! and the fact that a multi million dollar company apparently has more rights than a human citizen. (oh no! would this be considered HATE speech because I don't agree with the big corporate structure??)

And then there's the; "Everyone has rights group" that will probably cry censorship. Well, Google happens not to have any problem with radically stepping on the rights of individual Chinese citizens and providing filtering of their Google searches. Why not remove the trash from America's search results?

Fact is that everyone censors what is used. Unless we all desire to live in a cesspool of garbage and filth for the benefit of a few, we need and use a certain amount of censorship in our everyday lives.

Many hosting companies, Search engines and others state that they will not support (provide services to) sites that encourage "HATE." What "hate" is is never defined but apparently it's not the objectification of women, the illegal trafficking of pharmaceuticals into the US from Canadian pharmacies, providing minors with online access to tobacco and other cancer causing products, or advertising online gambling which is expressly illegal in most of the US.

No instead, the search engines or those wonderful corporate entities of keeping of all that is good and righteous, just prefer to beat the little guy making sites and trying to get noticed. This way they can continue to make money off of the filth while holding others to a much higher standard than themselves.

There's a search engine who has a mission statement about no doing evil. We should really get a definition from them about what they consider evil.
