Here's 2 pieces of information. R They Related?
So a recent piece in the national news indicated that the difference in salary between the average working person and the upper management elites is growing. Like those of us who actually work for a living and are held accountable needed to be told this tidbit of information. According the the ********* the difference between the average worker salary and top management back in 1990 was 100 to 1. Or for every 1 dollar a worker received, upper management types got 100 bucks! Obscene,? you bet!
As of this year however, the difference continues to grow. NOW, the difference is 437 dollars to 1. So for every dollar a worker gets in pay, upper management types get 437 dollars.
OK, you say, but those upper management, high level movers and shakers take on a lot of responsibility and take good care of the business thereby allowing the worker to have a job.
REALITY CHECK!
GM just announced huge cuts in their employee base. 17-20% by some accounts
AND Ford has recently done the same
So for those huge salaries, the working people lost their jobs.
Goodnight Gracie!
And they wonder why we're depressed?!
