Car Rentals, are you a luxury or economy Renter?

There are the economy class people and the luxury class people. This is the same with car rentals. Automobiles come in a variety of price points depending on your budget. Consider that if you’re on business and traveling with others from your company, a larger car or even a van rental may be much more economical than individual car rentals for each person.

Now I’m one of the economy class type of people and proud of it. I buy not the cheapest but also rarely the most expensive of almost everything. Still, when I rent a car, I enjoy getting something I would personally never purchase. If I’m staying over the weekend in a popular area, I might splurge and get a sporty car. Once, I was able to get a new Jaguar coming right off the truck! What a beautiful automobile to drive. Yes, it was a more expensive than I usually get but for that one weekend, it was all mine! I enjoyed the car even knowing the impracticality of owning it with my family size. Still, one day…..

Oh, and I paid the difference for the Jaguar over what the company I was working for would have paid for the other rental, just to let you know. If I had the same sense of values like the majority people in upper management, I would have rented the car for the whole week and charged it to the company, all the while working to layoff another worker, sending their job overseas.
